Visit The Bunker Studio with New York–based Trinidadian drummer, composer, and musician Zane Rodulfo, and listen to his new jazz composition, “Around the Circle,” created in response to learning more about Vasily Kandinsky’s practice and spiritual beliefs. The song was produced in conjunction with the Guggenheim Museum’s exhibition “Vasily Kandinksy: Around the Circle,” organized by Megan Fontanella, Curator, Modern Art and Provenance.

Their work blends performance, motion capture, and extended reality (XR) to challenge the ways technology represents and limits bodily expression. McMillian is the creator of the Black Movement Library, a groundbreaking archive of motion capture data from Black performers. Through XR experiences, workshops, and conversations, they explore themes of liberation, world-building, and representation. For this year’s YCC Party, LaJuné will transform the Guggenheim rotunda into an arena for a collective experience.
