💎 Discover the Arkanoid, a unique analog optical theremin and light-controlled synthesizer based on the 556 timer chip. The Arkanoid allows you to play without physical contact—by simply manipulating light, you can control both pitch and depth. It also features CV inputs for hands-on control of these parameters, making it a versatile tool for sound exploration.
In this demo, I showcase the Arkanoid’s sound possibilities, with the output signal processed through the ICE DELAY and SHIMMER REVERB effects from the Zoom MS-50G pedal, adding depth and movement to the tones.
Exciting news—a limited number of Arkanoid units will soon be available in my Tindie store for those who want to explore this unique instrument firsthand!
Gear Used:
• Arkanoid Analog Optical Theremin
• Zoom MS-50G (ICE DELAY + SHIMMER REVERB)
