@AphOrg has been a key steward of the history of blindness for more than 160 years, and recently became the new stewards of AFB’s Helen Keller Archive. The organization has set the standard for how we adapt to and anticipate changes and innovate to meet new demands. For all of this and more, APH is a worthy recipient of the Helen Keller Achievement Award.

Video Transcript:
Hello, I’m Dr. Craig Meador. On behalf of APH and its 300-plus employees, I want to thank you for this very prestigious award. We’re grateful to be acknowledged with the other recipients, both this year and in years past. At APH, we’ve been a company that’s pushed for accessibility for all our years of existence. We truly believe that equity only comes with access and we truly believe that the world needs to belong to everyone. The work of Helen Keller and AFB has been a cornerstone for the field of blindness, and we’re proud to serve alongside you all these many years. We want to say congratulations on 100 years of service, and we’re hoping for many, many more.
