[2.1] Necromantia (Easy Demon) - by RadiationV2 enlex 2020-01-09 | I was browsering my subscribtions tab and encountered a video about a Radiation new level. I was very surprised to see a new level uploaded by him as I haven't heard of him in a while, and so I decided to click on the video and check it out.And wow. I recognized this level just by the very first seconds, and felt very nostalgic. Back in the days, on Febraury 2018, I got offered by Radiation to collab on this level, a collab I immediately accepted as I always loved Radiation's style and I thought I would have done a good job by following it.However during that period I was very demotivated and dropped the level, and that made Radiation lose a lot of his time, which I felt very bad for.Anyways, I was very surprised to see this finished now, and I'm glad he has made it a solo in the end, because, atleast I, would've ruined it.I love everything about it. The designs, the colors, the backgrounds, and the overall simplicity. I recommend you all to play it as it was also very fun and enjoyable! [2.1] Bloodbath (Weekly Demon) enlex 2019-04-02 | Yeee 5th time beating this!!Rob had set this level as a Weekly Demon for April fools so I decided to beat it!It took me about 3 hours in total, 1 hour yesterday but I was way too sleepy, and 2 hours today.Also, I died at 96% twice (with a difference of just 5 attempts between one and the other), and, listen here, 99% lol. Sadly I lost the clips of those fails because my Hard Disk was full :(It took me exactly 500 attempts to beat it, but it would've taken me less considering how I died so many times far on in the level and how I wasted more than 100 attempts because of me playing whilst almost sleeping on my keyboard. [2.1] NeoN 18 (Demon) - by Xender Game enlex 2019-01-19 | Amazing level by Xender Game!This has to be one of my favorite levels, it's a mix of design, arts and effects.I love everything of this level, especially the colors, the usage of glow, the effects and the movements.Everything is also well synced with the song, a really nostalgic song that I love!The gameplay, which is made by DspectrumNGK, is quite enjoyable once you learnt it. It has some little bugs and weird timings though.My only complaint is that the boss fight is kinda out of place. It is too short for an XL level. [2.1] Sounds (Demon) - by ItzMezzo enlex 2019-01-12 | Really nice design level by Mezzo!The colors are really nice and so is the usage of glow, the gameplay is quite enjoyable, doesn't really look like a 10 stars gameplay (as he requested) but some ship parts makes it hard so it's fine.The design is really good but looks a bit repetitive, compared to previous Mezzo's levels too, so yea, it is fine but it would be nice to see Mezzo make something new!The only thing I dislike of the level is that the pulses it has doesn't really fit with the song, I mean, I would have used more flashy, bright and fast pulses with this song, and the pulses in this level aren't really bright or fast. At 0:26 we actually have a good example of fast pulses but they aren't bright so you barely notice them. [2.1] Kiroshi (Demon) - by Distortt enlex 2018-12-11 | Really nice level by Distortt!I really love the colors and the pulses, especially the glow and how it is used. The design is quite simple in most of the parts but it's really nice, backgrounds are pretty simple too but complex background wouldn't fit well so I think these ones are fine and look good.I really like those black borders at the top and the bottom of the screen rotating and pulsing with the music at 00:30. The gameplay is quite enjoyable, it has some weird timings in some parts but they're not really a big problem.The only thing I dislike is that the level ends with a black screen. You guys know me and you know I'm obsessed with logos at the end of a level, even simple text with random decos :pOverall it's a nice level, and I think it looks better than any other Distortt level. He said he's gonna change his style a bit now and try to make new stuff. Creator Contest 3 (unknown results) enlex 2018-11-13 | So finally, the Creator Contest 3 results!This is the unknown category, and it was the hardest to judge but also the more interesting one!So, talking about these results, 17 were the best entries I picked up from this category, but couldn't let everyone win. I decided to put only 3 Honorable Mentions and obviously, 5 winners.The level at first place might be kinda unexpected, and I have to admit it was in a lower place, but I later played it in-game and the vibes it gives are nice, it also has a nice sync and fun gameplay which gave it some extra points, also, the level is full of little details that the video isn't showing :)The other levels are nice aswell and I think these placements are fine.Talking about the Honorable Mentions, Rainfall III and Overlord had really big chances to get in Top 5. I really can see the big effort behind these two levels and I loved both of them, but it seems like something is missing. First part is definitely my favorite, second one is also really nice.The gameplay isn't bad, it has some bugs but it's kinda fun. Some parts could have a better sync though.A thing that I really dislike is that the level is just one minute long. In my opinion they should have continued it for the last seconds of the song too. Another thing is how the level ends, there's no final logo or anything. [2.1] Abyss (Demon) - by doritos1 enlex 2018-09-25 | Pretty cool level by doritos1!I really like the design and the effects.It would have been better if the level started with a big white flash, some 3d stars or stuff like that, because that black empty part is kinda boring.The first part is really nice, except for those obj pulses. That's a pretty common color combo and I dislike it.At 18% there's some memory with the rotating blocks. I start by saying that I don't really like the rotation effect, seems to have no easing.Pulses here are better, background is also cool.Nothing much to say for the part at 38% other than it's cool and I like it.At 58% we have an orb-synced ufo part and then some ship. Here the effects are pretty cool, pulses also nice, except for those at the ship part that once again, uses kinda common color combos.The effect at 70% is a cool idea, but sadly not well executed.Nice transition part at 73%, that I really liked!The level ends with some more spider, ship and cube gameplay, here again, didn't like the obj pulses.The requested stars for this level are 8, but due to some timings and hard ship parts it might get 9 stars or even 10 stars. Also I think the general style fits pretty much well with the song.I don't like much the black transitions, wasn't really necessary to put them, and they also make the actual gameplay transitions bad.I also dislike how there's not a finaly logo for the level. The design as always is really nice, we're talking about erdyuri.What I love the most are the flashes and the colorful lasers, and obviously the usage of glow. You guys know I'm a fan of all this stuff.My only complaint are the colors which in some parts like those green or yellow ones looks kinda bad. [2.1] Tranquil Trance - by Wiktord1 enlex 2018-08-04 | This is a nice modernistic level by Wiktord1!What I love the most of this level are the saturated colors and the use of glow, that gives the level some kind of neon-ish view.I really like the big borders and in general the block design he made.My favorite part is the wave at 31%, it is really well made and I love it! The reason why I like it that much is probably because I'm really bad at making wave parts designs :PAnother awesome part is the dual at 53%, I love the general design, except for the green colors at the first part of this dual that make it look kinda bad.After this dual there's another amazing part with another wave. I love the concept and the design, I also really like that thing showing the player's coordinates in the top right corner.I didn't get the coin but I like the way you have to get it. [2.1] Dreary Premonitions - by Sharkarie & Jghost217 enlex 2018-07-20 | Pretty cool level by Sharkarie and Jghost.I like those glitchy effects, the first part is nice and it has a nice moving eye in the background. I feel like they should've added some slow moves to the blocks to make it more "alive".The second part is good too, even though it is a bit confusing since the blocks blend a lot with the background.I don't like the text at 0:24. The font is meh and they could've added some moves and some more glitch effects as they did with the text at 0:09 which looks pretty nice.Next part is pretty nice, they could've added more of those disappearing blocks though.Love the jump at 0:45, for some reason.Last part isn't bad but I think the glitch effects aren't well made. [2.1] Gloom - by Optical enlex 2018-07-17 | Pretty cool simple level by Optical!I really like the concept of this level, even though I think someone else used it before.The colors are pretty good and low saturated colors like these fit pretty well with the song, same with the general design, it fits pretty good too.I found the gameplay at the first cube a bit confusing because of those little yellow lights.One thing I don't like is that the wave's gameplay isn't synced and in my opinion he should have also make it less long and add another gamemode.The ending logo is cool, but again it would've been better if it finished in sync with the end of the music.Overall is a simple, but cool level. [2.1] Flares - by Filaret enlex 2018-07-10 | Really nice level by FilaretOne of the most cool entries for Viprin's CC9.I really like the first part, especially those pulses on the rhombus.Second part is really nice too, I just dislike a bit the auto part at 0:22, which is not even synced.The pre-drop is cool, love the pulsing blocks and the pulsing triangles in the background.The drop is cool too but it would have been better if it was at x3 speed.I don't like much how after the 60% there are basically no pulses, and with this music makes the level looks kinda dead. The backgrounds and the rest are cool though.At 80% we have another auto part that could've had a better sync.The last part at 90% is cool but pretty boring. [2.1] Distasterpeace - by LeakeGD enlex 2018-07-08 | This is a really nice art level by Leake.I'm in love with the details and all the pixel arts.This level is inspired from the game Fez that personally I never played or watched a gameplay, but I have the game in my Steam wishlist and I remember watching some of the graphics and they look pretty much similiar.You all know I love levels with a nice atmosphere and so I gotta love this one.The part at 0:20 lacks a bit of general decorations, feels empty but I still like it.
