Do you have an antagonist, villain or nemesis in your book? If you have an antagonist, do you think they need to be promoted to nemesis status, or is the current dynamic working for you?

I love the idea of a nemesis - it's so personal, the two nemeses push each other to evolve and it really moves the plot forward. The problem? That dynamic's completely missing in my book. 😅

I have an antagonist, but I don't think he really cares that much about my protagonist. And she's so busy dodging everything that I'm throwing at her that she hasn't had a chance to think about him in a while. Am I doing it all wrong?
