We are honored to announce our Five-Star Hero contest winner - Ann Blair Gribbin! Ann Blair is the mother of Lulu Gribbin, our Honorary Hero, who was
attacked by a bull shark, severing her left hand and part of her right leg.
Ann Blair has been by her side during every step of the recovery process
and has been a powerful model of resilience and courage.
Since the attack, Ann Blair and Lulu launched the Lulu Strong
Foundation, with a mission to advance prosthetic technologies and help
amputees reclaim their independence and confidence faster than ever
before. They also played a key role in passing Lulu’s Law, which allows
shark attacks to be classified as events that trigger wireless emergency
alerts.
