Angel’s journey has taken another twist. After making incredible progress with us, she was startled one morning and managed to slip out through a sash window. Since then, Angel has been living locally in the village — cautious, but very much still here.
We’ve seen her on our cameras, neighbours have spotted her, and thanks to the support of an amazing local Search and Rescue team, we’re working calmly and patiently to bring her safely home.
This is all part of her rescue story. Traumatised dogs often take steps forward and backward as they learn to trust again — but Angel is eating, returning for food, and staying close. We won’t give up on her.
