Join exhibition co-curator Davinder Toor as he takes a closer look at a striking piece of armour featured in Ranjit Singh: Sikh, Warrior, King. This cuirass, known as a char-aina, depicts Guru Nanak, the founder of the Sikh faith. It would have protected a warrior’s torso and is adorned with intricate floral designs and inscriptions in gold.
