Milford Sound, painted from 2018 - 2020. I love this place and I don’t think I’ll ever tire of painting it. I’ve revisited this subject recently, but I think this piece has something. Maybe it’s the scale, maybe the light - but I’ll keep chasing this scene thinking of new ways to communicate the breathtaking landscape here!
Still, it’s nice to reminisce about a piece that just “clicked”.
