While searching for 19th century American guitarists/composers I stumbled upon three simple waltzes by a guy named Charles de Janon. He was actually from Brazil, but he became an American citizen, so we claim him. They are all short and simple, but I found them to be catchy tunes worthy of preservation and "tabification" for the student guitarist.
As I have often found with what I initially think will be an "easy" tune, each of these waltzes presents a few technical challenges that cause me to swear profusely during the recording process. So, by my standards, they are sort of easy, but may require more practice than you would initially think. I fail to apply the additional practice warranted, because I'm impatient and I resented the challenge I encountered when trying to learn this piece.
