For anyone watching this i don't recommend trying to install sockets to do this fix, just solder the chip right in, see this video youtu.be/aYMufIu77aU

The A600 is very small inside and none of the chips were orignially socketed. So will it be possible to install a socket for the removed broken RAM chip due to the size constraints?
