This is the pinky or coppery Sturgeon almost full moon over Belfast 26th August 2026. I filmed it tonight when I can see it, because it might be overcast over Belfast on Friday morning at around 12 20 am when there is a full moon.
The actual full moon on Friday will appear larger and brighter than usual and will include a partial lunar eclipse visible over -North America. It is also considered an "almost blood moon," since most - but not all - of the moon will be covered by the Earth's shadow.
