Nagoya Marimbas features two interlocking parts that are always playing the same material but separated by a few beats. The amount that they're out by varies throughout the piece in order to produce different rhythmic patterns and melodic lines. Alex Petcu recorded both parts using a click-track for the first part and overdubbing the second part while listening to the first part and same click track. A virtuoso performance!
