It’s never too late - Worldwide Premiere - Press release note
‘It’s never too late’ Is a reflective Progressive-Rock track written and produced by Alex Davila.
This is an eclectic musical structure based on a three part section arrangement. A dull guitar intro, an interesting lyric vocal arrangement statement leading to the full arrangement and a monumental outro dull of electric guitars. The technical music approach for the dialog between the two electric guitars consist in one guitar applying the modal system in ascending mode while the other guitar is applying the pentatonic semi chromatic scale in a decreasing mode. That creates the tension balance effect achieved for the outro finale solo dull guitar part of this track.
The vocal track was recorded before Alex tracheal shave surgery in 2022 making this recording a sonic testimonial document of her tonal and vocal color characteristics before this surgical event.
‘It’s never too late’ was written with the specific purpose to be the final track closing finale of the project catalog album AD4. That itself explains why its structure within the context of the whole concept. Regarding the message, is very simple…… never is too late to pursue our dreams, whatever they are and as crazy as we may think they are. The goal is always to move forward to find a better and happier destiny for our existence and those surrounding us.
The recording process includes old school and today’s modern technics of music production. All the instruments, arranging, tracking, sound engineering and final mix were made by Alex Davila in Richmond, VA. Mastering by James Forbes in Cleartrack Studios in Tampa, FL.
