The Alberta Birds of Prey Centre is a not-for-profit raptor rescue organization. They rehabilitate birds, and use imprinted or non-releasable birds (who would die in the wild due to blindness, wing amputation, etc) to educate visitors about the role these animals play in our ecosystem. I visited their Centre for the first time and did a sketch of one of their training eagles.
