Just documenting how I do this part, and maybe it also helps some people. I'm playing this on Easy on PC (I think the difficulties are different on Console), which is probably relevant as to how fast you can kill the Taken with the Searchlight.

The start could be faster, the turn onto the motorway was a bit bumpy, did it on Normal by accident, but overall pretty decent.")
