Land Planarian- The Hammerhead Worm- Bipalium bufothetoad1 2017-02-24 | This is a land planarian, also called the hammerhead worm. It is a free-living, unsegmented, carnivorous flatworm. It has a two-way gut with its extendable pharynx found midway through it's body. This primarily eats earthworms. They have a defined anterior end, and even have a "simple brain". These will regenerate if they are harmed.These are invasive to the US so kill them if you find one.Why I don't upload much anymore: There is a reason why I don't upload a whole lot anymore. Hartville Explosion Fire Aftermath bufothetoad1 2014-02-15 | Footage that I recorded of a small building, in a residential neighborhood, that had blown up, causing our house to shake as if someone had picked it up and dropped it. What you see is: 1) the first plumes of smoke that we saw from our house after the first two large explosions, and 2) fire departments on the scene putting out the fire. When I let them go, it flew off just fine, already being accustomed to the mutation since having left its cocoon. I found these butterflies together and they must be male and female. and the one has blue on it (female) and the other does not. These two were let back go after taking some pictures and video; they flew off just fine. Also called an Eyed Tiger Moth.I found this in my toad land one day, and I knew it was a caterpillar, but I do not know what species it is. If you know what it is please tell me. I wanted to keep it in toadland until it went into a cocoon then put the cocoon into a container to see what butterfly it turned into, but the next day it had drowned itself in one of my toadland water bowls. Biggest Gray Tree Frog Ever bufothetoad1 2013-04-18 | This is the biggest gray tree frog I've ever caught. I could tell it was one of the tree frogs I had before because it let me pick it up without it emitting the foul stench that frightened gray tree frogs do. Also, it has been getting warmer here in Ohio, so I refurbished Toadland. I will probably upload a video soon, but currently there are no toads in it.
