For most of us, the end of our lives will come with the long and drawn out prelude of old age. It’s a process that we all accept is going to suck, with our bodies and minds slowly failing us, and eventually taking away our independence.
In the past, this grim reality was the perfect pitch for snake-oil salesmen peddling miracle elixirs that promised a long life with great health. Today, those peddlers still exist, setting up shop on the internet, sadly drawing in crowds of desperate people with click-bait titles and fake testimonials.
But that dream of a pill or tonic that reverses the effects of aging is still worth pursuing, right? Science has opened the doors to dramatically increased life expectancies, the curing and management of fatal diseases – we even put a MAN ON THE MOON! So, why is it crazy to think we can find a solution to aging?
Professor David Sinclair thinks it’s far from madness. In fact, he’s been researching it for years and has uncovered potentially viable methods of managing old age. He's here to show you that “if we studied aging as a disease in its own right, and really sought to understand its mechanics, we could not only treat it, but beat it. All of us could live to be 150 and die gracefully.”
