This is a compilation of my gameplay clips from the original "Age of Empires 2: The Age of Kings" from 1999. It shows me winning against 7 allied AIs on Hardest difficulty with population limit of 200 in all game modes present in the game.
The original 1999 release of the game had Random Map, Regicide and Death Match game modes - the other ones present in the HD and Definitive Edition re-releases were added in the Conquerors expansion. I wanted to use different maps and nations for each run, so I can showcase different strategies used on/by them.
1st game was Random Map on Black Forest with Britons, 2nd was Regicide on Archipelago with Vikings and 3rd was Death Match on Continental with Franks.
I actually did these 3 runs back in 2021, but I never recorded and shared them, so I used my saves from back then to reenact them and record the highlists. I haven't played AoE2 in few years, so I'm kinda rusty in the clips, although my micro was never great to begin with.
