I have been trying, that's all I can do these days.. anyways, here's a new video with Eleanor, this song suits her and also what I've been dealing with these past few months..I've been feeling empty. Stressed, emotionally drained, and overall just not like myself. I feel like I'm giving all this effort and I don't get anything in return, especially at home and at work. I'm trying to help pay bills at home, my dad refuses but then a week later I'm being yelled at for not being responsible. And I feel like I'm working too much for my age. Maybe that's why I have most of my breakdowns at work, that's where my body shuts down the most. I'm missing my family, back when everyone was happy and we spent time together before mother passed away. I'm angry at my old self, I was so easy, so vulnerable and just so stupid. Why did I let myself be that way? So many people took advantage of me because of it... it's like, sometimes pain doesn't go away, you have to live with it and that's a really tough pill for me swallow sometimes. But that's just how life is, I guess..Okay that's enough ranting. The Chipettes - Spring (Positive/Negative Vent) softiebunny 2024-01-06 | Hey everyone! How was your week? My week was.. a week. Nothing much happened, I was just at home doing mah thing heheh, but I did have a LOT of motivation this week! I heard this song while watching Melanie Martinez videos and I INSTANTLY fell in love, but then I heard the full song and I felt.. so spoken to this song reaches parts of my soul that I never knew existed and I will explain below.This song made me think about the last 17 years of my life. As a child, life was pretty ordinary, I was a happy, yet very sensitive kid. Then I moved onto my middle school years, and things were shaky. I had my first childhood crush, fell in love then got my little heart broken :'3 and I started experiencing fake friendships. Then I started high school, and boy oh boy did things go downhill... During about the end of 8th or 7th grade, my friends started to slowly drift away, the friends I had for so long, like since kindergarten, were just sailing off into the sunset, while I stayed the same just waiting for them to speak to me. I started 9th grade VERY awkwardly, I was in a new school, I was anxious about everything and everyone, and it really rubbed off in the wrong way. People treated me like a piece of gum under their shoe, they spread rumors about me, I was ridiculed for being my own person. Then covid began, which made things worse because I cannot focus on work at home. All 4 years, I was in a really bad place, mentally. I believed I was not capable of having friends because I was a weird geeked out teenager who just did not fit in with everyone else. Thank God for school counselors or else I would not have made it lol. But then after I graduated, I felt relief for that short while, until my mother passed. It REALLY set me back, but I was so confused about my feelings after it happened because I felt... a spark of hope. I felt... free. Truly, free for the first time in my life. I do cry sometimes, I miss her a lot, but I just felt so much pressure lifted up from my shoulders. And it helped me realize how much of my life I forced myself to miss out on because of all that depression, anxiety, etc. My new year's resolution is to discover myself. I want to better myself. I want to start working out, I want to get a new wardrobe and express myself through clothing, but most importantly, I want to work on my social skills. There are some things about me that I cannot change, like the fact that I am sensitive, or how I am a little childish sometimes, those are things that make me, well ME!
