I'll try to explain how the contest will work the best I can but if you have any questions at all or if anything should be unclear, feel free to ask!There are 6 different categories based on music generes, Pop, Rock, Instrumental, Acoustic, Alternative and Remix. You can sign up for up to 2 categories, as long as you're sure you can do it. Although, if a lot of people want to join this contest you might not get into a second one, so keep that in mind! There are 8 open spots for each category, you cant join a category when all spots are taken. We will try to have a wide variety of editing stlyes in each category and might have to turn down a lot of people that want to join, but we will try our best to make this fair! The sign ups will stay open for about 2 weeks so you have enough time to consider if you want to join and which category you want. As soon as every category is full we will start to give out the parts, which will be a 20-30 second part of a song fitting to the category. Every contestant of the same category will recieve the same part. You will compete against someone else of your category and there will be a voting to decide who enters the next round. As soon as we have all the entries for one round, we will put them together in a video and upload them here on this channel so the public can vote on it.
