I’m very fortunate to have some lovely neighbours, who keep all sorts of bottles and containers for me. In this case, I’m using a recycled cat milk bottle to create today’s Advent Calendar Shaker!

Well our Advent Shaker today is a plastic cat milk container. I’ve left the top open, so there’s no lid there, and some ball bearings. So we can get some slight differences in the sound.

Evelyn is sat on the steps in the lobby of her office, with some drums and framed event posters behind her. She shows us the shaker she has created today, as part of her Advent Shaker Calendar (where she is making a new shaker every day in the lead-up to Christmas), describing what it is made from, and how the sound it produces feels.
