This video is to celebrate that i've been editing amvs now for 5 years! holy shit that's a long time. xD i hope it's been worth it.. lol
anyway, i felt it was necessary to do this video for this reason, Ravenhpltc242 was always and will continue to be the mother of all avatar vidding, and her into the fire video with atla was the video i saw that inspired me to want to edit atla in the first place! so i thought i'd just try and renew it.. just as she renewed fancyclancy's atla into the fire video which inspired her and so on and so forth inspiration and shiznitt.
I also just wanted to vent tarrlok/noatak feels and lin feels.. as opposed to my prior bashing of borra feels XD so here it is, i hope you enjoy~ :)
i also want to dedicate this to duffomgj, xxkeybladeslayerxx, iceehy, ravenkora17, katara495 and remianid for being cool kids and amazing editors :)

My first ever game edit. I first played this game in high school in the 00s, and it changed my understanding of what a video game can be forever. It stayed with me and i think i probably replayed it at least another 2 more times over the years, but i replayed it again this year not even realising its the 25th anniversary, and i have fallen in love with it all over again and i think the story hits so much harder for me now as an old. Beautiful story characters, truly it is the bar for cinematic video game experiences for me. I had wanted to do an edit like this for ages but it was hard to approach, given how beautiful the FMV cutscenes are but they only cover a small portion of the story, so i took the plunge and included the regular gameplay cutscenes too, and im not mad at the result. For Yumi, who lent me her copy way back when in school and introduced me to it, and for Julianne who just sat through a 9 hr movie edit of ffx with me ~ praise be to yevon ~
