With the core conflict of Steven Universe concluded with the finale episode 'Change Your Mind.' I wanted to address some of the criticisms and concerns some people have had regarding the show's treatment of the Great Diamond Authority. This video will delve into the ways the Diamonds' ideology parallel those seen in Abusive individuals, as well as Authoritarian and Fascist Governments. We then must examine how Steven and the Crystal Gems oppose and ultimately defeat those ideologies, and see how these episodes can be able to help us fight against those very same ideologies.
