Action Pact 'Johnny Fontaine' video promo clip, 1983. This video is from Action Pact's 'Survival of the Fattest' album, their second (it's on CD together with 'Mercury Theatre On The Air''). George Cheex - vocals; Wild Planet (aka Des Stanley, RIP) - guitar; Thistles - bass; Grimly Fiendish - drums. Lyrics - Dr. Phibes, music: Wild Planet. Although Dr. Phibes stopped playing bass with Action Pact after the first album, he continued to contribute lyrics. This track is about the character from 'The Godfather':

Dr. Phibes initial temporary replacement on bass was their producer, the late Phil Langham (as Elvin Pelvin), also of The Dark and subsequently Anagram Records. Then Thistles joined the band for the 'Survival of the Fattest' album, and he appears in this video.
