Testing RAID 0 performance on the ACASIS TB504 Thunderbolt 5 enclosure using four 4TB Samsung 9100 Pro NVMe SSDs in a 16TB APFS RAID 0 array with a 256K stripe size.
This video focuses on sustained real-world transfer performance using a 4TB mixed media workload, alongside synthetic benchmark testing against an 8TB dual-bus Thunderbolt 5 RAID built from two ACASIS TB501 Pro enclosures with WD Black SN850X SSDs. The video also shows what it takes to maintain high bandwidth throughput for SLC cache and TLC write speeds.

• 16TB TB504 RAID 0 Read Speed: ~6,921 MB/s
• 16TB TB504 RAID 0 Write Speed: ~6,680 MB/s
• Sustained 4TB write completed in 9m 46s
• Sustained TLC write speeds remained above 6 GB/s after SLC cache exhaustion
• Demonstration of aggregated SLC + TLC cache behaviour in a 4-drive RAID 0 setup
