CHORUS Fear and delight all the way through the night, With a little daring do, I'll fall in love with you.
INTRO Oh but I know you'll cause me grief, close friends of mine are in disbelief, as they can see what's underneath fluttering lashes, red lips and pearly white teeth.
1. I don't show it but I quiver whenever you come near, and I cannot decipher between the thrill and the fear I want to stop but I like too much to let it stop here: it's wrong but i want you tonight.
It was not my own volition but I fell in deep by running the distance I'd been advised to keep I trot to the wolf as a doting sheep; it's wrong but i want you tonight.
2. I'm the little boy who's gonna be getting fingers burnt, but I can see this lesson's gotta gotta gotta be learnt, they say that boys have been destroyed but they weren't; it's wrong but I want you tonight.
In any case my friends it's too late, like a moth to light like a beast to bate and I know the black widow eat it's mate; it's wrong but I want you tonight.
3. I'm an innocent being seduced by your charms, I'm a young boy tickled to death in your arms, your kisses taste like bitter almonds; it's wrong but i want you tonight.
You're an addiction pulling me to a grave end, you're an enemy who I'm keen to defend, (so) down the black hole of my lust I descend; it's wrong but I want you tonight.
4. Why is that I'm keen to be devoured by you, when there's the option of a love affair that's pure and true, I always choose the dungeon over the sea view; it's wrong but I want you tonight.
When I'm out the other side I say never again, but when I'm out and about I want to find the next vixen someone who'll be sure to drive me round the bend; it's wrong but I want you tonight.

mrbruce.co.ukWHERE HAVE YOU GONE by Mr Bruce COMING SOONThe Correspondents2022-10-16 | Written in the wake of the death of Tim Cole (aka Chucks), his bandmate in The Correspondents, WHERE HAVE YOU GONE is out on 18.10.22 12pm GMT with a video which was filmed at the memorial show. The 18th October is the second anniversary of Tim's death.
While both writing and reciting a eulogy for him I tried to imagine his reaction to it. In the weeks following the funeral I studied footage of him in interviews and used this as the basis for a hand drawn animation where he listens to his own eulogy.
It’s the opposite of most of the videos that I've made for the Correspondents in our 13 years together in that it’s subtle and slow moving. There’s nothing like drawing someone’s face a few thousand time to keep them present.
If you have a moment please visit www.musicsupport.org and donate if you can. They are a charity focussed on supporting people in the music industry suffering from mental health issues. They have the only NHS approved app focused on the prevention and early detection of mental health conditions.

Tonight is the opening track on the band's second album FOOLISHMAN. Thanks to Gordon at Buster Mantis for letting us use his bar for the opening scenes!
For too long now I've been trying to work out how, I can pull myself from this pit I've dug for me alone to fit. How I've lied to the friends who stand at my side, In not letting them see, the darker parts of me.
Finally, I've grown back the ability to, Stop the demons coming in face the night alone again, I'll never feel the cold again as far as I can know. (x2)
I'm gonna be moving on I'm gonna be moving out, I feel I've got the grips of what this game is all about, The days have definitely seen me turn from blue to grey to black, So convinced that I would never be able to find my own way back.
I thought I could continue to be carefree, I thought my default was pre-set to happy, Suddenly a smile is a face you put on, Muscles are moving but meaning has gone.
Now no more, Closing all the doors and willingly wasting away the day, No more, feeling so unsure about the things that I wanna say.
I find out that I've got the means to turn it inside out, Shedding a layer of skin, Clean slate turned leaf breath again.
Finally I've grown back the ability to, Stop the demons coming in face the night alone again, I'll never feel the cold again as far as I can know. (x2)
Is anyone, anyone in the mood to turn it on. I wanna, I wanna find myself some fun (x2)

This video is an edited version of visuals used in selected live shows. Created with a multiple camera setup by Naren Wilks (who made Fear and Delight youtube.com/watch?v=ABS-mlep5rY)
A Bad Baby Production, created by Christina Hardinge.
Everything you see on screen has been achieved in-camera, using analogue techniques. Despite appearing black and white, the entire video is filmed in colour and does not use any CGI or digital compositing effects.
Big thanks to Asa Taulbut and everyone at Hornsey Town Hall.
Inexplicably high Inexplicably low I think I know what I want but I don't know where to go And all the while it seems that I'm living in my dreams And not in the now No Not in the now.
1. When I was four I raised my finger to a moving car It crashed So I assumed I had a super power I didn't raise that finger until I was nine When a school boy attacked me for the 25th time. Down I went, my index still up So Convinced that he would just drop Powerless to make it stop
2. At 19 I still just about believed in god I guess That I was pretty late to shake it off Faulty magic whispered to the man who can mend I tricked myself in thinking he could cure my best friend. Two weeks in his insides gave up If drugs can't help why would words bring him luck Powerless to make it stop
3. Now My hands are pulling at the donkeys reigns I feel I've gone the wrong route down a dusty lane The grass could have been greener down the first road I took I'd give half my happiness just for one look My lust to win is eating me up A game I can't win up against my own clock And powerless to make it stop. Finally - The Correspondents (Official Music Video)The Correspondents2016-05-04 | A new track ahead of an upcoming album. So decided to offer it to you guys for FREE!
Chucks has whipped an Electro Swing banger. We don't usually release much DJ friendly stuff, but sometimes you just put some massive kicks, snares and subs in there.

www.thecorrespondents.co.ukThe Correspondents First Time Down UnderThe Correspondents2013-08-13 | In March 2013 The Correspondents toured with Womad in Australia and New Zealand. As it was there first time down under they were prepared to play to a handful of people in a field, they certainly weren't expecting such a raucous reception at every gig. And no one expected the extreme heat in March.

Awkwardness ensues! Plus added freestyle at the end.
