What a strange combination of mechanics in this game. Bishin Densetsu Zoku is a beat'em up with f-zero vibes with the car game play. Pretty much before every level you have to go from your starting point on the map to the yellow point farthest from you. The lanes are not linear in the car portion so you can end up going in circles and running out of time, having to restart the level. You know the correct place to end at by finding a bunch of parked cars at some dead end. Meanwhile watch out for the edges and other cars who will damage you. Too much damage and your done, so keep that in mind. Once you arrive at the destination, it turns into a beat'em up.

One of the strangest Beat'em Up Games I've played on the super nintendo. Gourmet Sentai features some strange protagonists, the one I picked is the "Fairy Queen" I believe. At the end of each level you have to combine the ingredients that enemies dropped to get buffs for the next stage. It is very interesting in a weird way I suppose. The game looks great though and the enemies are imaginative. I couldn't find much info on this game, but it was enjoyable none-the-less.
