In this fascinating episode of "A WonderGrove For Birds", Brooke discovers the wonder of bird nests, from tiny hummingbird nests no bigger than a quarter to robin nests the size of a soup bowl. Explore how birds construct their nests using a variety of materials, from pine needles to strands of spider webs. Learn new skills to assist birds by providing nesting materials and leaving nests undisturbed until fledglings are ready to fly. Tune in and embark on your own journey to welcome and protect our feathered friends, thinking about the future to ensure a healthier planet for the next generations.

This series was created by Terry Thoren, the former CEO of Klasky Csupo, Inc., the company that created The Wild Thornberrys. Mr. Thoren has a lifelong passion for birds, inspired by nine glorious years as a child making weekend visits to the beautiful 220-acre Sapsucker Woods Sanctuary at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology in Ithaca, NY.
