There is a way to export videos and sequences way quicker than the method you might be using. This is perfect when you want to compress video files or export a multiple sequences, maybe with different aspect ratios.
The way you do this, is by first going to the “Project” window. Here I’ve added a clip into two different sequences. One in a horizontal setting and with in a vertical setting. If I want to export both of these at the same time, select one of them, hold “Shift” and then select the other one.
Now go to File, Export, Media, or keyboard shortcut “cmd + M”.
Now, if you check the “File name” and “Video Settings” it will say “Based on source” since they are different for the different clips. Then set the “Range” to “Entire Source” and then click “Send to Media Encoder” to create a queue with exports in Media Encoder.
