In this tutorial, we take a quick look at texture data and how you can use it to modify existing assets within Unreal Editor for Fortnite. As you will see, not all texture data can be swapped among the built-in assets, but many of them can be. Swapping textures is better than bringing in your own and results in higher performance. You can still bring in custom assets, but they will only work with your custom meshes, not with UEFN's existing and built-in ones. So the next time you need to quickly texture something, considering finding a texture within UEFN that you can swap in.
