I am preserving a lost video game memory. This game can no longer be easily acquired and is in danger of being lost to time. DOOM RPG was released on September 19th, 2005, for BREW and Java Me.
It is not difficult, not long, and not technically impressive, but I enjoy it, I want to share that it exists! I did a new playthrough on September 28th. 2025 through September 30th, 2025. Just about 20 years later.
I suppose, happy 20th anniversary to the DOOM RPG!
The game received some awards including "2005 Mobile Game of the Year", "2005 Adventure/RPG of the Year", "Editor's Award", "Game of the Year", "Editor's Choice Award" and "Best Wireless Adventure Game". GameSpot gave Doom RPG a score of 8.6 out of a possible 10 in their review of the game.
The game sold more than 1 million copies.
