Smash may be on everyone's mind once again, but now Nintendo has another platform fighter on the Switch! After coming out of nowhere late last month (leaks aside), Kirby Fighters 2 brings the puffball's signature style and copy abilites--and a few friends--into a fighting game format to duke it out! It's more of a casual-friendly take on the genre, offering 4 player craziness in solo or team formats that are sure to be a good time for everyone involved.
But who says we can't take things a little more seriously than probably intended? With a new fighting game comes people wondering who the best (and worst) characters are, so let's see if we can rank this game's 22 playable fighters into the format of a tier list.
This'll be primarily my own thoughts and instincts based on my competitive Smash background--with some outside feedback--so consider this my personal take. If you disagree, I'm interested to hear on what and why!
