The choice of the Renault Trucks E-Tech D Wide came after a thorough study by Rivard’s design office. Equipped with four 94 kWh battery packs, this fully electric vehicle delivers optimal performance for urban cleaning operations, septic tank maintenance, and the servicing of wastewater or rainwater networks.
📈 A design built for real-world use
The chassis configuration was specifically adapted to meet the needs of the body build: upgrading the GVW from 16 to 19 tonnes, switching to a crew cab for better weight distribution, and the integration of a 70 kWh electric Power Take-Off (e-PTO) provided by Renault Trucks to power the onboard equipment (vacuum and high-pressure pumps).

Rivard developed an intelligent energy management system based on the “right energy for the right need” principle. This solution optimises consumption while remaining fully transparent for the operator—delivering controlled range and performance.
