I've got three major pond projects hanging over my head right now — and unfortunately, Mother Nature isn't making any of them easier.
The swampy area behind the pond is completely flooded again, the pond is STILL leaking through old clay field tile, and the massive waterfall/water feature I've been planning has officially been pushed back until spring 2027.
In this video, I'm giving you an update on all three projects.
We fire up the 3-inch trash pump and start draining an unbelievable amount of water from behind the pond, I try using a soil probe to locate the old clay drainage tile that's siphoning water from the pond, and I'll show you the updated plan for the waterfall — including a much larger external pump capable of moving around 12,000+ gallons per hour.
The good news? I've finally figured out which of these projects needs to happen first.
The bad news?
There's a LOT of dirt work coming.
