The first track from the 1976 production, "Tales of Mystery and Imagination (Edgar Allan Poe)", which was the debut studio album by British rock band the Alan Parsons Project.

The vinyl album was released on 25 June 1976 in the United Kingdom and Ireland by Charisma Records and 20th Century Records in the rest of the world.
The lyrical and musical themes of the album, which are re-tellings of horror stories and poetry by Edgar Allan Poe, attracted a cult audience. The title of the album is taken from the title of a collection of Poe's macabre stories of the same name.

Musicians featured on the album include vocalists Arthur Brown of The Crazy World of Arthur Brown on "The Tell Tale Heart", John Miles on "The Cask of Amontillado" and "(The System of) Dr. Tarr and Professor Fether", and Terry Sylvester of The Hollies on "To One in Paradise".
The complete line-up of bands Ambrosia and Pilot play on the record, along with keyboardist Francis Monkman of Curved Air and Sky.

In 1987 Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson remastered the tracks for release on CD and it is from that CD issue that these tracks are taken.

The Alan Parsons Project was a British rock duo formed in London in 1975.
Its core membership consisted of producer, audio engineer, musician and composer Alan Parsons, and singer, songwriter and pianist Eric Woolfson. They shared writing credits on almost all of their songs, with Parsons producing or co-producing all of the recordings, while being accompanied by various session musicians, some relatively consistently.

The Alan Parsons Project released eleven studio albums over a 15-year career, including I Robot (1977), Pyramid (1978), The Turn of a Friendly Card (1980), Eye in the Sky (1982) and Ammonia Avenue in 1984.
Many of their albums are conceptual in nature and focus on science fiction, supernatural, literary and sociological themes. Among the group's most popular songs are "I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You", "Games People Play", "Time", "Sirius", "Eye in the Sky", and "Don't Answer Me".

This track was recorded directly to computer from the CD and processed using Audacity software.
The video was created in Movie Maker, where the images and the music track were assembled into the final product.
Creating just one video such as this from a single track on a CD takes around fifteen minutes from start to finish, therefore an eighteen-track CD takes more than three hours to process.
