Auto white balance is quietly ruining your sunset and blue hour shots. In this video, I’ll show you why you should never rely on AWB during golden hour—and exactly what to use instead. For sunsets, switch to Daylight (5600K) to preserve that golden glow, or bump it up to 6500K for cloudy skies. For blue hour? Go Tungsten (3200K) to let the cool tones shine instead of getting flattened out. Even if you're shooting log with 10-bit color, in-camera white balance will give you better results and save time in post. But if you're on an 8-bit profile like Rec 709, it’s even more important—because pushing the colors later can destroy your image. Don’t let your camera "fix" the look you were chasing. Dial it in right from the start.
