• What the Heart Wants • | Solas x Lavellan MissAlyvia 2015-09-13 | Well guys, it's been three years since I've posted anything, so I'm a little rusty! Read on...This game and its story line inspired me after my Inquisitor, Arya Lavellan, fell into what would become one of the most tragic romance stories I have ever experienced, be it in a game or book. Thank you, Bioware. You created an amazing character, but also broke mine (and her) heart into a million little pieces - not once, but twice now with your latest Epilogue Trespasser DLC. Thanks a lot.That being said, I've been recording the cutscenes from my PS4 since the beginning - just in the off chance I might scrape some inspiration back to create something out of it. This is the result of those scrapings. It's special to me, as I finally got to piece together the scenes that have haunted both me and my Lavellan into a storyline that I hope tells a bit of theirs. I'm not going to disclose anything of the story or my ideas for it - just know that these 30 seconds or so are still quite rough and will be much more polished in the final render.Oh! And its my first time really working with Adobe Premiere! Vegas has died on me, Ive lost a lot of my major files for studios, including LHS - which has been depressing enough in itself to make me sit on my hands and not edit these last couple months, I do apologize. I'm working on things bit by bit, once I can get myself back into editing, the rest will follow just as it has in the past.I'm not going to write much more. Whenever this video is fully complete, I will have quite a bit to talk about at that time, concerning my friends, my studio members of LHS, and more. • Madly On ~ {1940+ Subscribers} MissAlyvia 2011-06-03 | • no matter how hard life gets, the world spins madly on.══════════════════════════════It's been a long time hasn't it? It's funny how life gets in the way sometimes. For a while I had lost my reason for editing in the first place. No matter what encouragement my friends here gave me, I could not edit. Then, a few days ago, I saw a short animated film of two characters, hand-drawn, dancing to this song. I don't know what it was about it that struck me, but I decided to try and edit with it.In the beginning, I wasn't sure where I was going with it. I was just editing, letting my choices stand, and see where it would end up. It might seem a little random, I suppose, but for once I actually quite like it. There are two stories within the video, and I only realized afterwards that they were two possibilities I had always wanted to edit with, but never could. I guess you can look at this like a preview for two different future paths I might take in a video. One, being the unique comparison between Vanille and Hope, and Yuna and Tidus - it hit me when I heard Vanille say they made a promise in another lifetime. She might not have meant anything by it, but all I could think of was Tidus and Yuna's promise to visit Zanarkand together. In the future, I would like to expand on this concept, and make a full video to it. The same goes for Cloud/Stella/Tifa. There are many scenes where Stella is a copy of Tifa - something thats pretty obvious XD but since I have not seen too much Cloud/Stella, I might like to explore them as a possible crack couple. In this video, I fell back to Cloti in the end, because thats where my heart told me to go with the song. I feel like this is a little more abstract than I usually edit, since I literally just shut my mind off and let the scenes come to me. I masked every now and then, and Vegas gave me absolute hell when rendering (the program is slowly dying on me). But I like it, despite the issues. I find its soothing... I hope you guys do too :)Enough of my rambling. ══════════════════════════════The storylines are fairly straight forward in my opinion. Vanille and Hope are young, they have feelings for each other, but they are part of something much bigger, part of a history and a past lifetime that has followed them, allowing them to be together in this time. In the end, though, she is taken away from him, but they feel that their promise has been fullfilled, and that they can be together again in perhaps another lifetime.Cloud and Stella were once together, but he had always loved Tifa since they were children. Stella died, but her presence has always haunted him. He is with Tifa in the beginning, but he always feels like he is hurting Stella. She tries to comfort him, and tell him the world moves on and so should he. She goes to Tifa, who is hurt and confused by Cloud's withdrawn attitude. In the end, she helps Cloud make his final decision to move on. "Tifa..." he confirms, though he had known it all along."Cloud...my chosen" Tifa replies, but in a voice not totally her own. Was Stella also speaking through her, in a last lament to her lost love?══════════════════════════════This is for you, my almost 2000 subscribers! Thank you. I was practising with manually focusing my new camera. We originally planned for the IC to be an hour and a half long, but since Vegas and MSN were being extremely mean to us, we decided to extend the deadline to Sunday. The other rule being we hade to stick mostly with FF7-type footage, and that it had to be at least thirty seconds. The storyline SHOULD be obvious xD but here it is simplified: ------------------ Tifa and Zack are fighting. Again. Zack is sick of it, and Tifa is afraid that this fight will be their last. It sends her back to when she was younger, whispering to Aerith about her secret feelings for the boy. Aerith, shocked, could not help but remember all of those times he had toyed with her, called her beautiful. She had thought that Zack had loved HER. When Tifa made her affections known, Zack quickly turned his back on Aerith and went after Tifa instead. Back to the present day, Tifa is yelling at him. Zack looks like he wants to be anywhere but there. Both of their lives are miserable with each other, Tifa tearfully realizes. Karma. ------------------ ^_^ I ran out of inspiration in the end of the video, but I may just go back later and make this into a full video. Id go into detail on Aerith and how she is doing. Maybe throw in Cloud and have them fall in love, while Tifa falls apart :P the story has room for expansion :D or maybe Ill just leave the video as-is. Ill see! xD so....yah! This is my outcome! I like it, because it gave me a chance to try a different style of editing - text/flow/colours. Long story short, Cloud and Lightning are siblings (not lovers!) and the story starts with him visiting his sister's crystal, feeling guilty and saddened, when all of the sudden she awakens. She stares at him with worry, but then her face breaks into a smile when she realizes that Cloud is not mad anymore. This takes Cloud back to when she had first told him she was a l'Cie, and how angry he had been. But now, watching his little sister smile in wonder at the sun and the breeze on her skin, he could not help but smile. The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud MissAlyvia 2010-08-17 | Please Read the Description! This is a fan-made final fantasy inspired re-make of the movie trailer "Charlie St. Cloud." I do not own the movie rights or the actors ^_^ I only claim to own the editing of this video. O__O And I think I am the first to edit a final fantasy version of the trailer O_o - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Well, I only recently got back from a two-week vacation. Ive missed editing! This video isn't my best, but I tried to get away from masking (although I did let myself slide and do some particularly fun masks ^_^ Like Denzel running) and focus on the words and the emotion of the scenes in the trailer. I hope you guys can all turn a blind eye to the many glaring errors xD I had fun making this, and its been a while since Ive been able to say that. The title of this video is the title of the book the movie is based on. It is not a typo that I put death before life :) the themes in the trailer will explain why. Most of her days she is alone, and the only thing to remind her of Zack is the ring he gave her. After being away for almost a year, Zack returns and turns Vanille's world upside down. He finds her in a flowerfield, tending the flowers. Because of the long time that they haven't seen each other, Vanille reacts confused, not knowing how to feel. Her feelings are very quickly reassured though when Zack takes her into his arms and kisses her. After a short stay Zack is forced to go on a very dangerous mission again. Tidus did not feel the same way, not when he was completely in love with Yuna -- a commoner girl from the town. They had to meet in secret, in a crystal cave. One day, Stella followed him. What she saw broke her heart. In her anger, she aimed a curse at Yuna, but Tidus flung himself in front of her at the last moment. When Stella tried to curse Yuna again, Yuna's words made her falter. Stella, heartbroken, ran away. Time passed. Winter turned to spring, which then turned to summer. Yuna could not forget him. On the anniversary of the curse, she went back to see him. The curse is lifted for one day a year, and Tidus was able to see her. But he couldn't stay, he knew that. He had to go back, and just as Yuna's heart was breaking for the second time, the cave began to fill with people. Her friends. They circled around her, blocking her view of Tidus. Collab Part 6 [Lightning X Cloud] MissAlyvia 2010-04-08 | Finished another collab part when I should have been studying....Ah well xD I had a lot of fun making this part actually. As I said in my other descriptions, this part continues the story from the last two parts, so you should probably watch those before this one. This is a collab Im doing with xsmatthijsse Its going to be awesome so keep an eye out for it!!!! Storyline {For this Part} Its been a month since their last fight, when Cloud had gone over to Lightnings to try to win her heart again. But she had sent him away, his own heart shattered into pieces. Now, Lightning is trying to move on from the guilt. She is ordered to guard a local festival, but since all seems calm she can't help but smile and appreciate the fireworks. Meanwhile, above the procession, Cloud watches in his dark room. He is broken, and is also supposed to be guarding the festival. Suddenly an alarm blares on the TV and he sees the live scenes of a gang taking over the local train. Lightning receives the same warning, and they both proceed to fight. When they run into each other, there is a moment of awkwardness. Cloud gets distracted when he spots a gang of men running towards them. Taking action, Lightning leaps over Cloud and guards his back, and together they fight side-by-side, like they had long ago.
Collab Part 4 [Lightning X Cloud] MissAlyvia 2010-04-05 | Well ok I figured Id just upload the parts I have done so far xD If you havn't watched my first part, you probably should. Ill keep this description short, just by telling you the story evident in this part. After their break-up, Cloud descided to talk it over with Lightning at her house. Things did not go so well. They immediatly started fighting, Lightning asking him why he bothered coming over since they were done. Cloud tried to reason with her, but he was getting angry too. At the height of their argument, Lightning cried out that she hated him. Cloud, stunned, could only look at her, challengingly. Lightning could not meet his gaze. Without a word, Cloud turned and left, much to Lightning's surprise and remorse. "What have I done now?" Cloud takes off on his bike, hoping that the speed and the wind whipping past his face would help him to forget, to wash away her words that shattered his heart. ---------------------

A memory comes, of back when he met her in the forest and proposed to her. She was worried, reluctant, but she said yes. She loved him, but something had held her back. Now, a few months later, she realizes that they can never be together. She asked him to come to the church so that she could explain this, and so that she could give him back his ring. T_T hahaha and why does Cloud's hands have water as she gives him his ring? Well, I thought about it, and its because he was catching his tears. To put in a jar. Which he would then send to her. LOL ..... O_o

Its simple, and I stress that word to its max. There is no masking, despite the fact that I wanted to. My SV Pro would crash everytime I tried to open these files, since they are in HD and my program was being a butt. Regardless, it was a good time for me to practise flow/emotional editing anyway. In the end I couldn't believe how depressing I had made the video. Gosh, I must have a little inner emo somewhere, xD As for story, I should think its fairly obvious. It basically follows the game's storyline between Vanille and Sahz, and since I don't want to spoil the game's storyline, Im not going to say the story of this video. One thing that should be pointed out is that this is not a couple...they are friends, just friends. He cares for her only like a father in this video. ^__^ Just wanted to make that clear. Basically, the three canon pairings: Yuna & Tidus, Aerith & Zack, and Tifa & Cloud, are not exactly living the love-ever-after story that they had hoped. There were problems in each relationship, and so the girls descided to break away from the negativity. This freedom allowed them to find true love with who they really belonged to. ✖After leaving Tidus at the airport, a past argument still ringing in her ears, Yuna met Cloud. He instantly fell in love with her and accepted her for everything she was. ✖Aerith met Zack at the train station, only to tell him that she had had enough and wanted out. He didn't complain, for he was tired of their strained relationship. In the end, she meets Tidus (shown as Shuyin) and finds her true love. ✖Tifa and Cloud's relationship had never been stable or loving. She was always doing something wrong it seemed, and he was always so closed and dark. Cloud left her and found Yuna. Meanwhile, Tifa went to the trainstation to get a clean start somewhere else. Instead she found herself between a gang of soldiers, and a lone man named Zack. When he saw her, he immediatly fought to save her. Hmm.....I must say I am actually really dissapointed with this. I was struggling all week with school work and editing, so this is sort of rushed. The ONLY thing Im happy with is the masking of her dancing around, because I took my time to make it look right ^_^ Nero's masks are crap. Ive never worked with him before, and his hair frustrates the heck out of me lol. The main theme for this mep is angel (i.e the wings XD lame attempt eh?) and that it had to be a non FF crossover, so I figured Id choose Nero and Yuna since Nero is so damn smexy ^_____^ Extremely lame, random storyline: Yuna and Nero were together, but then...she got shot and killed. She missed him, living as an angel in the lifestream, so she wanted him for christmas (lmao) and went to earth to fetch him. She brought him back, but suddenly they were both transported the the fareplane. Nero thought it was all a dream, until she called out to him, and he spun around in shock. Main Story: Cloud is so guilt-ridden, thinking that it was all his fault that Yuna killed herself. To make it up to her, he breaks up with Tifa, but Yuna can only watch on in sorrow as he makes another mistake. She doesn't want him to not be with Tifa, she knows Tifa can make him happy. Cloud seeks comfort in his friends, but they all tell him the same thing: To go be with Tifa, and let Yuna go. After while, he understands, and goes back to Tifa. He apologizes to her and tells her he loves her, but Tifa knows now what she must do. She asks him to take her to the cliff outside of Midgar. "But you loved her more" she whispers, not angrily, and pitches herself over the edge. Cloud tries to save her, but fails. Meanwhile, Tifa sends her life energy to be replaced with Yuna, so that Yuna can live again and be with Cloud. While Tifa looks down from the lifestream, Yuna awakens and rushes to meet him. Cloud realizes his true happiness is with Yuna, and has always been. But naturally, we will start small, and work towards blending our styles to become one. My idea for LHS is that it will be a blending, something I have not seen done before, of the very well-known with the unknown-yet-extremely-talented. This melting pot of editors will shed a light onto the audience of YT, bringing together people who may not have ever even had the chance to meet. There are so much talent that is not being appreciated. A studio like LHS is what I am hoping will bring it out for everyone to see. It truly is the dawning of a new era for studios on Youtube. Things are changing, the ways and laws that people have grown with are shifting. Some, like myself, are no longer content to create "typical" multiple editor projects. It is time to delve deeper, to bind various styles into one. To unite the best editors, into one seemingly seamless project. Such a feat is daring, yes. Impossible? Perhaps. Meanwhile, a man named Cloud was battling with his own sense of guilt and grief. After accidently killing his beloved Stella one dark night on his motorcycle, he never forgave himself. Stella haunts him, but not in vengeance. She wants him to move on with his life and to love again. She tries to tell him this, but he just ignores it and believes it is his retribution for what he had done. Then Stella found Tifa, trying to move on with life as if nothing was wrong. Right then she knew that Tifa was the right girl to get Cloud over what had happened. So Stella attacked Tifa and left her in the church for Cloud to rescue. "Go Ahead" she whispers to him, when he finds Tifa. Cloud runs to Tifa, who is dying in his arms. Stella didn't mean to cause this much damage, so she goes into Tifa's mind and pulls her back from the spinning abyss of death. "Please....take care of him." Stella pleads. Tifa then wakes and realizes everything. Cloud. Stella. Her sudden love for Cloud. Tifa turns to Cloud, who is frozen in indecision. Stella see's his reluctance, and runs forwards. Cloud see's something that no one else can, perhaps Stella saying a final farewell. "Ok." He nods and walks towards Tifa. "I think...I love you." He says. "You love me?" Tifa prompts. Cloud just smiles. But as he does, Tifa recalls a long lost memory, one where she had asked Noctis the question that had broken them apart. "A memory or us?" As Tifa recalls her memories, she also recalls one more terrifying fact. It was the only way, despite that she still loved him, they couldn't be together. A year goes by, and Cloud is still upset about the break-up. But after a year, his sadness turned to anger, to hate. Meanwhile, Yuna and him are at the same festival, but they don't know it. Yuna has taught herself to smile, when she's feeling sad. As she enjoys the fireworks, she suddenly looks over and sees him. At that exact moment, he looks up and meets her gaze. Cloud --angry-- turns to leave. "Don't go!" Yuna suddenly cries, and grabs his arm. "Don't go..." "Why should I stay?" He says over his shoulder. Yuna cannot surpress her love for him any longer, and she caresses his face once more, and then hugs him. I know some parts are rushed and the masking is bad T_T But I had a lot of fun making this. I kept it simple. No border, no texture. I decided I didnt want to hide my mistakes behind a bunch of texture cover-up.
