GTAV: Lil Bits 2 Jay Lay 2022-10-08 | At last, a new GTAV video, something the world has been lacking since the release of the game in 2016. There's probably 6 videos of this obscure masterpiece out there in the world, 5 of them mine, so it's great to come back to such a cult classic such as this. Don't buy it.This video is comprised mostly of sections cut from The J Show 2, an experiment with shorter form skits, and whatever GTAV footage I had left in one of my several folders of thousands of 30 second clips. The pacing at one point was abysmal, I think it's as good as I care to make it so far, but I Swear To God, I was so done editing this, it's been on the backburner since The J Show 2 released. Never-the-less, I still consider it one of my more proud videos, solely due to how much editing practice it provided me.Some things to note: I'm experimenting with side bars since some of my footage is 16:9 instead of 21:9, would you believe how difficult it is to make side bars with an orange and red color scheme that doesn't look like a rip off of game grumps? I actually had some cool looking ones but my color palette being solely the red spectrum has left it a difficult process. Red hurts the eyes and orange is too bright. You can't add a texture to disrupt the heavenly glow because Gam Gum. I thought about big triangles but it looked bad and having any movement just made the visuals too noisy. Basically, these are not final, and I hate em, they do move over time, just slowly.Another note is my intro, as you can see, I basically said "nah" to truly making it work. I think it's finally time I retire the format for the intro I have after carrying it with me since probably 2016. A moratorium will be held eventually of every iteration. I actually look forward to making a new intro if I'm being honest. ~Thank ya'll for watching, the reason I create is purely due to my enjoyment of the process and the final creation. Lil Bits: VRCHAT 2 Jay Lay 2022-08-08 | Finally a video of mine I actually enjoy, despite it's tremendous age, I think it came together very well. This was from a time before my brain went to shit, but was when I was definitely not in the best of spirits. So going back and hearing joy emanate from what I considered a dark period, and the stupid stuff me and my friends did that brought positivity around, was a great trip back for me. VRChat truly is one of the most free feeling worlds to explore, so, as with all my videos, I hope people don't see this upload as some clout chasing nonsense, I really do only put out what I will actually enjoy myself, I'm a fan of my own work, and so I hope sharing this with you can inspire the same experience I'll have from here on. It ages alongside me and you. A lil moment of your time means the world to me, so thank you.I hope ya'll get as much enjoyment from this as I did, I went back and added a few more edits to it just before release, so I believe this should be to my best abilities (and premiere's glitchy limits). As you'll see, I've experimented more with cropping, yet another element that will eat up much time but boi howdy you gotta admit it looks pretty slick. Proud of it.I figured out pretty much at the mid-point/end, that I could reliably use adobe's "auto-crop" to help out a little bit, it only tries to motion track the same shape you cropped so I needed to manually crop alot, but thankfully not having to do most of the motion tracking by hand as I've done out of the belief that there isn't a program to do it for me, is pretty rad.

I spent far too much time on this, had so many Adobe Premiere problems occur, at some point it became obvious I needed to cut it in half if it were to ever be finished. I reorganized it, then did it again, and again... Yeah this has a lot of work put into it. That don't mean I like it. By all means it's a perfectly serviceable video, but I expected and aimed for better. I feel like the clips themselves were not compatible, the half I removed had parts that would have severely fixed the pacing.As it stands, in my view, it's a weird half-step that doesn't go forward, but the experiences gained have helped me with the upcoming 2 videos I have completely finished.
