This is using the built-in recording and demo tools in the 'TeamRuns' mod by Dexz, it's insane....
Not sure if I'll go any further at the moment, will have to think of a new goal
Only a little more to go to reach the goal.
Easy PB again when I turn FDS back on
basically just a 2nd casual playthrough with p much 0 tech.

This is a new mod for OpenGOAL (the fan-made PC port of Jak & Daxter).
In Jak & Daxter: Bugged!, creators barg034 and Bintendo42 have added 27 new bugs (software bugs, not like stick insects or something) into the game. Some of them are specific to the levels they are in, others can be exploited throughout the game. Each bug was made with the intention of being somewhat "believable" but also something that could be used to save time in speedruns.

Think maybe it could go down to 37 with this route, but this run took long enough.

Pretty decent run, could probably still come down a second or two with faster cell grabs, even more with some new strats or a different route maybe...

The original point of the mod was to simply have players try and discover all 27 bugs, with some hints to use if they wanted. But I've found this mod is actually just a lot more fun to speedrun than glitch-hunt (at least, that's my opinion), so here is the best run from my first day doing runs of this mod!
The category I'm running is called "No Major Skips", which bans any form of LTS or FCS, as well as the new "credits warp" that was made possible in this mod as one of the 27 new bugs. If you don't know what LTS or FCS are, it's not relevant for this video, however maybe check out some vanilla Jak & Daxter speedruns if you're interested!

To be clear, it's not like no-one ever considered doing 1st person before, it's just that when they did it didn't save enough time to get them a 2:18.
I've optimised the exit to the point where that extra time-save from going 1st person gives *just* enough to get a 2:18.
