Spider-Man: Web of Shadows - Deep Dive Retrospective Review Always Nerdy 2025-06-10 | Developed by Shaba Games, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows is a very ambitious game. For starters, Shaba sought out to revolutionize Spider-Man's combat, by letting spidey seamlessly transition between ground, air, and wall combat. This is a major feat in itself, but Shaba also strived to give fans an exciting story based around the symbiote suit, letting players choose how much (or how little) they wanted to give in to the suit and risk taking Spider-Man down a dark path. Within this story are also plenty of easter eggs and comic references to the wider Marvel universe, so it's no wonder why Web of Shadows remains a fan favorite game to this day. However, while Web of Shadows has some great features, it also has some notorious problems. Fantastic Four PS1 is the STRANGEST Marvel Game | Retrospective Review | Casual Retro Always Nerdy 2025-04-23 | Fantastic Four (1997) is a side scrolling beat 'em up for the PSX that features a fully playable team of F4 members, including She Hulk! It sounds like it'd be awesome, but it's one of the oddest games I've ever played. With strange looking enemy types, incoherent story, and cheesy voiceover all set to a jazz soundtrack, it's certainly a wild experience.
