We make fake steam pipes for mood slime from the underground river of ectoplasm in ghostbusters 2 and plumb it straight into the Ghostbusters Firehouse headquarters storage facility. If you need to make faux sewer pipes or a scary rusty pipe wall for a Halloween boiler room or steampunk this idea may help. This old west style coffin bookcase is perfect for displaying those universal monster toys. It can also serve as a Halloween prop, goth home decor, creepy decor, or horror decor idea that can be made pretty much by hand and with hardly any power tools. Ghostbusters How To Store Ghosts | Ecto Containment Unit Playset Hollywood Haunter 2023-02-01 | We make the Ghostbusters ecto containment unit (ECU) for our huge Real Ghostbuster firehouse playset themed outdoor playhouse based off the Ghostbusters toys and movies. Every Ghostbuster playset & playhouse needs its own ghost catching storage facility. It's not a Halloween Facade for a haunted house walkthrough maze full of DIY Halloween props but its kinda in the same ballpark as far as creating it after all its Spook Central Ghostbusters headquarters. We are drawing inspiration for the design of this extreme DIY playhouse off the Ghostbusters filming locations. The exterior of the Firehouse building in New York, Hook & Ladder Company 8 and the interior of the Fire Station No. 23 in Los Angeles. The fire stations have been a filming location for several other shows and movies but as the home base for the Ghostbusters what better fire station could you model from for a kids playhouse. We also got a few ideas from looking over our sons Ghostbusters firehouse Playmobil set and the LEGO Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters images online, wish we had that! Other inspirations for ideas came from the Ghostbusters video game and The Real Ghostbusters animated TV series cartoon. We will be posting a series of videos of all the construction update videos and details of how we make this playhouse. We are incorporating two cedar wood playsets with the slides, climbing wall, swings, monkey bars, rope, fireman's pole, and any other playground equipment we can find a great deal on. The plan is to incorporate some other items from the Ghostbusters movies like a ghost, electrical shut off switches, wooden lockers, wood railing, slimer with slime splats, the stay puft marshmallow man, and much more. I know we always have grand plans but we will see how many of these we can accomplish. We are super excited to work on this custom playhouse project full of nostalgia so please stay tuned and join us on this new adventure. In his video we share the fabrication of the wood and metal welded custom containment unit inspired by the Ghostbusters firehouse interior from the movie and Real Ghostbusters cartoon. Masters of the Universe Toy Commercial Remake | Thunder Punch He-Man with Castle Grayskull Playset Hollywood Haunter 2023-01-31 | Here is our 80's Masters of the Universe toy commercial remake for the Thunder Punch He-Man action figure. The retro television commercials from the 1980's for the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (MOTU) toys were some of the best and most memorable. We share finished clips from our time lapse of making a giant epic sized custom MOTU Castle Grayskull playset for our one of a kind miniature Master of the Universe action figure. Since we were missing the vintage He-Man Castle Grayskull fortress of mystery and power in our toy collection we decided to just build it. It ended up being a pretty fun family project for us and we might still even purchase the toy one or get the newer version like the MOTU Origins Castle Grayskull. We made the large playset into a Castle Bed/Playhouse perfect for a little Lord of Power. In this video of the MOTU castle series we share the build clips in time lapse to music as sort of an ASMR style video on fabricating this giant toy inspired Castle Grayskull. We decided to make the exterior of the castle door look like the rock style prototype but with the overall shape of the vintage style wood door. We also made the teeth similar to the prototype with animal teeth verses human teeth. We made the locking slider mechanism used with the power sword like the vintage toy from Mattel. Except instead of creating two slots with the toy we combined it into one. We based the design off the look of original Castle Grayskull in the early Alfredo Alcala Masters of the Universe mini comics and the original sculpt for the prototype by Mark Taylor. We started by framing the wood structure then attached white bead foam Styrofoam with Great Stuff expanding foam and have started carving the shape. We will incorporate a few things he can do to interact his action figures with the castle. We may even try to make the interior based off the toy playset. The paint scheme will try to stay close to the original toy line from the 80s. We even took a few inspirations from the He-Man animation and he-man and the masters of the universe tv program cartoon full episodes. Masters Of The Universe 80s Toy Commercial Remake | Snake Mountain & Castle Grayskull Playset Hollywood Haunter 2023-01-30 | Here is our 80's Masters of the Universe toy commercial remake for the Snake Mountain playset with echo microphone. The retro television commercials from the 1980's for the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (MOTU) toys were some of the best and most memorable. We share finished clips from our time lapse of making a giant epic sized custom MOTU Castle Grayskull playset for our one of a kind miniature Master of the Universe action figure. Since we were missing the vintage He-Man Castle Grayskull fortress of mystery and power in our toy collection we decided to just build it. It ended up being a pretty fun family project for us and we might still even purchase the toy one or get the newer version like the MOTU Origins Castle Grayskull. We made the large playset into a Castle Bed/Playhouse perfect for a little Lord of Power. In this video of the MOTU castle series we share the build clips in time lapse to music as sort of an ASMR style video on fabricating this giant toy inspired Castle Grayskull. We decided to make the exterior of the castle door look like the rock style prototype but with the overall shape of the vintage style wood door. We also made the teeth similar to the prototype with animal teeth verses human teeth. We made the locking slider mechanism used with the power sword like the vintage toy from Mattel. Except instead of creating two slots with the toy we combined it into one. We based the design off the look of original Castle Grayskull in the early Alfredo Alcala Masters of the Universe mini comics and the original sculpt for the prototype by Mark Taylor. We started by framing the wood structure then attached white bead foam Styrofoam with Great Stuff expanding foam and have started carving the shape. We will incorporate a few things he can do to interact his action figures with the castle. We may even try to make the interior based off the toy playset. The paint scheme will try to stay close to the original toy line from the 80s. We even took a few inspirations from the He-Man animation and he-man and the masters of the universe tv program cartoon full episodes. Indiana Jones and the Golden Idol Piggy Bank - Disneyland Adventure Ride Sign #shorts Hollywood Haunter 2023-01-28 | We carve foam snakes and make the Indiana Jones thrill ride Temple Of The Forbidden Eye entrance sign at Disneyland to add to our prop making replicas collection. Making signs from Disneyland Parks for our home decor is a fun DIY theme decoration idea. This time it's the Indiana Jones ride adventure entrance theme. It's also another foam carving Styrofoam prop build video very similar to carving Halloween tombstone props. Disneyland Indiana Jones Adventure & The Temple of the Forbidden Eye in Adventureland has got to be one of our all time favorite thrill rides and the Disney Parks. We have be making Disneyland props and decor for our home and our sons room, specifically items from the Adventureland area so this was a must have on the list to make. Snakes why it have to be snakes? Making the entrance sign to the Indiana Jones Thrill ride was such a fun adventure and an awesome new addition to the house. The sign is sculpted from a couple different types of foam. We used polystyrene white bead foam for the sign and a high density yellow foam for sculpting the two snakes. I attached our router and Dremel cup to a couple of scrap pieces of 1/4" plexi glass to help glide over the top of the foam as I cut out all the lettering. I applied drywall mud to the foam to get rid of the pitted foam and smooth everything over. I used Epoxamite laminating resin from Smooth On to hard coat the white foam and I used a polyester resin to hard coat the snakes. I added a couple sheets matte fiber to the backs of the snakes for added strength. I then hand painted and blended several colors together to create the stone look and for the colors on the Indiana Jones logo lettering. It hangs from a section of wood post that has been sculpted similar to the faux post at the Disneyland Park. I mounted a couple pipe hangers to the wall and hung it from a couple lengths of hemp rope. We added a little piece of fake vine and bam we have ourselves a adventure sign. McDonalds Halloween Happy Meal 🎃 Best Boo Buckets Hollywood Haunter 2022-10-18 | McDonalds Halloween happy meal buckets are back for October 2022 and these are bigger then ever. We love McDonald's Halloween happy meal pails so much we're building the biggest Boo Buckets we've ever seen. McDonalds Halloween Boo Buckets have returned this season with a throwback using three new designs based on the vintage retro Mcgoblin, Mcboo, Mcghost, and Mcwitch pails chalked full of nostalgia. We've been wanting to create giant mcdonalds boo buckets and large nugget buddies for years to use for trick or treating in our Halloween display or trunk or treat and it just seemed like the right year to try and squeeze it in. These mcdonalds toys were such a part of our childhood memories we just love that our son can now experience picking up his little halloween happy meal trick r treat boo buckets. We have even been sharing the old nostalgic classic 70's 80's and 90's McDonalds commercials of Ronald and the crew in McDonald land and he just loves them. This video is the 3rd update of our three DIY mcdonalds halloween buckets. The designs were inspired by the original boo buckets from the late 80s and early 90s. I had entered a contest that was put on by Vintage Soul Thrifter and won! I couldn't believe it as the prize was all vintage Halloween. One item in particular was on my want list for a very long time. Then to my surprise was a box from my YouTube friend Renee of Paper and Moose. About a month ago she was doing an estate clean out and came across a box of CVS Universal Monster Beanie Babies. She generously sent them to me to add to my collection. Carnival Themed Prop 🤡 Haunted Ringmaster Stand Halloween Circus Decoration Hollywood Haunter 2022-08-22 | We're making a fun circus ringmaster platform prop or carnival stand to be used in a spooky photo op and haunted backdrop. The creepy carnival Halloween decoration will be part of this years haunted attraction at the Winchester Mystery House. The podium is made of 3/4" MDF and sculpted EPS foam and then hard coated with a fiberglass and gelcoat jacket. We then painted a fun vintage circus pattern hat we scratched and aged up to look haunted on the Halloween prop which made it look old and spooky. It's a great Halloween decoration idea for anyone making a scary circus, carnival, horror, freak show, Cirque Du Soleil, or fairground theme for their haunt or Halloween party. Large Outdoor Halloween Graveyard Mausoleum Decoration - Hard Coating & Texturing Foam Hollywood Haunter 2022-08-09 | Here is an update on our giant Halloween decoration idea for Halloween 2022. In this video we focus on hard coating and texturing the sculpted foam pieces and walls of the graveyard mausoleum façade we are making. This haunted cemetery crypt prop will be a spooky and creepy walk-in tomb DIY decoration for any Halloween graveyard or cemetery scene. After all the walls are made and foam details have been carved we attach foil with 3m super 77 to cover all the Styrofoam so we can apply polyester resin and 2 oz. of fiberglass matt. We also use a Smooth-On epoxy resin called EpoxAmite on the rough textured stone bricks we carved. Once the resin cured for a day we mixed Flexbond mortar with a little Drylok concrete sealer and using a hopper gun sprayed a rough texture on all the wall sections. Once dry we applied an exterior latex paint for the base coat. The plan is to get everything coved and back together so we can start to faux paint and age this huge thing. Museum of Halloween Vintage Decorations for Midsummer Scream 2022 Hollywood Haunter 2022-08-02 | It was my absolute pleasure to be asked to participate in this years Museum of Halloween at Midsummer Scream Convention in Long Beach California. The exhibit was a collection of Vintage Halloween items from the early 1920's through the 1990's. Several collectors came together sharing their collections for the public to view. There were blow molds, tin noisemakers, paper Mache, board games, model kits, costumes, vinyl records, treat bags, candy containers, comic books, and trick or treat pails and buckets. A wonderful recreation of the Frankenstein Monster. Seeing everything put together like and old Woolworths store or five and dime store was just incredible. Thrift Clothes Yard Sale Find - Vintage Clothing Unboxing Hollywood Haunter 2022-06-17 | I unbox some vintage thrift clothes from a yard sale. A few weeks ago I stumbled upon a yard sale that had two huge boxes filled with vintage women's clothes. Normally I pass on vintage clothing because I don't really know much about name brands, styles and pretty much fashion LOL!!! But after I pulled out a few items I noticed they were all around my size. This was super exciting to me as I felt like it was meant to be. It appears that most of these garments are from the 50's, 60's, and 70's. A lot of the dresses and skirts are new with tags. There are super bright colors, bold patterns, fun fabrics and even a few solid black lacey things that look fabulous.
