F-ZERO 99: King League 1st Place Showcase (Wild Goose) SteelBlade 2023-10-31 | Got my first King League win a few days ago and felt like sharing the recording of it, maybe some people can find it helpful to see what some of the successful strats are for these courses (for instance, saving the skyway for the final lap of Fire Field is nearly always an auto win).I wish I could say I 100%ed this game with this win, but I still Team Battles to grind and to reach the level cap for the last remaining badges. Running & Gunning - Mechstermination Force Music Extended SteelBlade 2023-03-08 | Today marks the 10th year anniversary of my channel, and to commemorate the occasion I decided to pay tribute to some of the first videos I uploaded. 10 years ago, I posted some extended songs from Gunman Clive, and so now here's an extended song from a game made by the same developer.A lot has change over the past decade since making this channel, and while I might have had some lofty goals I never fully pursued, it's nice to see that I've still kept this channel around in some compacity over the years. And for anyone watching that's actually been following this channel for some time, then you're pretty cool too.I've thought of a few other ideas for this milestone, so there may be a few more videos coming up throughout the month and / or year.Thanks :)
Music Swap: Star Dream [Kirby: Planet Robobot] SteelBlade 2022-11-01 | After all these years, the "Music Swap" title finally makes literal sense, as I previously made a video of the Dragalia fight using Star Dream's themes, and this video shows off the reverse of that concept. It's the first set of games I've done a completed loop with so to speak, and makes me think about the potential of doing this with other swaps I've done, perhaps sometime in the future.I've actually had the idea for this video for some time, but was never able to execute it due to the hurdle of capturing 3DS footage, as well as disabling the original BGM as Robobot does not provide that capability natively. Surprisingly, both of these issues can be solved with a homebrewed 3DS, which I spent some time modding my own system earlier this year, so I finally had the capabilities to create this. This method of 3DS capture isn't entirely perfect (there's a little choppiness in the beginning), but it's better than nothing at least.As you'll notice, the second phase of the fight was skipped over. This is unfortunately because I couldn't think of anything reasonable to utilize for that phase from the source material I was using, since the Dragalia fight is only 3 phases long. Overall, I'd still say the end result is pretty fitting, nonetheless.As per tradition, another Halloween upload is bestowed upon you.Also, as a side note, this is the first video that has actual production value put into it, as I paid a service to create the music visualizers on the sides.

[FORMER WORLD RECORD] 2:36.16 The Ultimate Cup Z (Buffs) [Kirby and the Forgotten Land] SteelBlade 2022-04-27 | This run held the world record title from April 27th to May 5th.Getting a super clutch save on Chaos Elfilis made this all the more satisfying.The only real improvements to this run aside from frame perfect optimizations are getting a fast kill on Leongar by getting a double hit in phase 2 (seen in the previous WR), and a more optimal Elfilis attack pattern. Taking all this in account, current sum of best is 2:27.67.

Music Swap: Advent of the Origin [Dragalia Lost] SteelBlade 2022-04-14 | With Dragalia having its final new event and an impending EoS, I wanted to continue my contribution to the community with another Music Swap, this time featuring tracks from the most recent Kirby game. Hope you enjoy.A little behind the scenes, this video utilizes the co-op version of the fight for the first half, then switches over to the solo version for the end. This was done so I could incorporate the transition between phase 1 and 2 of the music track, as well as extend the fight so more of the music could be heard.Potentially the final Music Swap for Dragalia, depending on if I decide to do something for the endgame bosses.
Music Swap: Demonlord Satan [Dragalia Lost] SteelBlade 2021-11-01 | The theme for this fight actually fits with the seasonal mood this time around. Two unholy godlike entities hellbent on world destruction brought about by direct sacrifices from their respective antagonists. Neat coincidence.
Music Swap: Elysium Clash [Dragalia Lost] SteelBlade 2021-04-11 | Woah, an upload not on Halloween? Crazy, I know. As for the music, the correlation between Elysium and Galeem are pretty obvious, both divine godly beings that want to cleanse the world of it inhabitants, and having the song synchronize so well with certain parts of the fight turned out to be better than I expected.Also, as a notice to the like literal 5 people that watch these Dragalia videos that aren't from Reddit, I eventually plan on doing Music Swaps for the Agito bosses and possibly the Sinister Dominion, along with a few other fights from the game. After grinding a bunch of mats during the 2.5 anniversary I feel a lot more confident attempting endgame content, and I've been thinking up ideas for each boss, so be on the lookout for those in the future.

I think these themes go well with the fight (and was synced perfectly surprisingly), as both games feature an enemy hell-bent on destroying the world and have some sort of technology theme to them (kinda).
