He reached me out to create this Dead by Daylight theme, and I honestly loved the idea to work around a kind of Chernobyl, radioactive vibe. With a geiger counter as the core of my percussion section, I started to create a pretty dynamic theme that even the Trickster would envy. Then, it's all about old school synthesizers, instability, distorted badass bass, and some sound design from the east of Europe. Compared to the first version "Lullaby", here, on "Targeted", it's more about the brutality of the hunt. Huntress got a very small terror radius, so, no need to hear too long of that. But still, there is some shamanic Russian drums, and you can even hear the lullaby in the distance if you pay attention.For the Chase music part, yeah. That's brutal. I wanted to picture what it's like to chase as the huntress, and at the same time, to BE chased BY the huntress. Left ? Right ? Where will she throw her next hatchet ? Is she behind you or doing a tricky mind game ? Scratching cellos and violins translate that, the quickness of a decision you have to make. Contrasted by the sound design made on a weird bass, that remind the pressure it is to be chase by her, while the shamanic drums just hit frenetically.Explosive mixture than any Dead by daylight chase music enjoyer or Huntress lover would appreciate, I'm pretty sure !
