Rescued from an RSPCA Assured Farm - Animal Justice Project Animal Justice Project 2024-10-23 | Six hens are rescued and given a second chance at life in a sanctuary. For the first time ever, these hens—Ginger, Babs, Bunty, Molly, Frizzle, and Mac—get to experience the freedom they deserve after escaping the harsh conditions of farms.Three of the hens were rescued from an RSPCA Assured farm, while the other three came from 'enriched' colony cages. Despite the difference in welfare standards, their health was identical, highlighting the failures of welfare systems. Watching them encounter straw and grass for the first time was a truly touching moment, as they are now safe, free, and able to live the natural, joyful life they were meant to.
