We saved them all!!HomeComputerMuseum2023-02-26 | By the end of 2021 we were contacted to save computers of a deceased collectors in a barn in southern Belgium. Little did we know what we found when we went to pick it all up in September 2022. It was like a free candy shop for computer collectors and we're ever so happy that we got this once in a lifetime opportunity.
The HomeComputerMuseum saved around 100 computers from this collection and the rest is saved by other collectors. Nearly everything is saved and since October 2022 everything's gone from the barn.
As a museum this was like being in a candy shop and we were allowed to take all. We drove there with 2 big vans and 3 cars, all completely filled with stuff. Registering and repairing took another 3 weeks in the museum!
It has taken until January 2023 before we had the final piece, the Holborn, in our collection. That is a story for a whole new video, which will be available in the next month or so.

#HomeComputerMuseum #Promo #2021A working Aesthedes2! Worlds most advanced computer graphic system.HomeComputerMuseum2021-03-04 | A working Aesthedes2! World's most advanced computer graphic system.
Mr. Chris Roberts, founder of the company Roberts & Smiths Associates, worked with the Aesthedes2 and this computer essentially made it into a multi-million company.
In 1988 they've released a promotional video for their company, showing a little bit of a working Aesthedes2 and we are allowed to share this bit of history to the public.
The Aesthedes2 is a CAD-system created in 1985(-ish) and was used into the 90s. It was the most capable system for graphic design and commercially available. As far as we, the HomeComputerMuseum, know, around 250 of these computers were sold. 15 of them were in the UK (according to the video).
We are currently in the process of restoring an Aesthedes2 and we expect to get it fully working soon and yes, we are making a video of this.
