Learn the 5-loop square braid first. Then learn the 7-loop version before moving up to 9 loops (you will be using your little finger to do the braiding moves). This video is the first of 2 videos on 9-loop fingerloop braids, demos the square braid, and also the divided braid for making a loop or buttonhole. Part 2 will show how to braid a flat, wide version of this 9-loop braid.
