(The problem with breathing through your mouth is that your breath contains more moisture, which decreases the breathability of the mask considerably faster and speeds the rate at which it heats up your entire head. Also, when you inhale, the mask just kind of sucks into your face and seals over your mouth, which is the absolute worst)

Huge thanks to teejusb for letting me play! Also remember to wear a mask when you go out. Don't be a NOOB.

(Wow I still play ITG!!!!!)
Claiming WR is kind of silly because there are several people who are (or would be) much better at ITG doubles than I am; it's just that not a lot of people have really spent much time playing it. I think I could get pretty dece though.

I wasn't actually expecting to pass; I just wanted to pick it to psyche JD out (which totally did not work anyway). Actually, I had never even played the Expert before, but I was pretty familiar with the Medium chart -- but my best on that was still only ~22%. So this was pretty unexpected.

These pads were wayyy more sensitive than what I'm used to, so you can tell I was having a lot of trouble with accuracy and with comboing certain kinds of patterns, but on the other hand, it made everything I played WAY less tiring than it normally is. I'd never be able to cruise through those streams without getting winded at home.
Stream breakdown is: 47-63-31-96 / 63-31-48 (379 total)
I think this is harder than both The Power and Lifestyles of the Digital (Full Version)

The second half of this is the ten-minute version, except with harder patterns. The first half is way harder though.

I still need to upload ECS5 videos, ughhhhhhhhhhhhh
As a bonus, I played this on the day of the Winter Solstice. I'm corny and I don't care
I turned the audio way down on the machine today, so if you can't hear the song very well, just look up "Obscurum vs Traumaticoma - Winter Solstice" on bandcamp.

Apologies in advance because I have 4-5 new videos that I'm going to upload in a couple days, and most of them are really bad quality because they were saved from a low bitrate stream. They're pretty ~FRESH~ though

3. Squirrel Vision
4. Stars
5. The End
Surprisingly, this felt quite a lot harder than the 18s marathon, despite the fact that it's almost a half hour shorter. It's 27380 steps in 36:13, which gives it a density of 12.60 steps per second.
This is somewhat comparable to Last Trip, which is 22898 steps in 29:47 with a step density of 12.81. However, one thing that might make this more approachable is that the difficulty is distributed more heavily into the first half rather than into the second.

3. Detonator
4. Digital Messias
5. Robot Brain Era
6. Shanti (Angry Luna Mix)
7. Shanti (Gotalien Mix)
8. Tripping Traffic
9. Wild Neko
There's 45245 steps in 1:04:19, which gives it at a density of ~11.72 steps per second. I think this was my first "song" of the day.

11-minute song at 230 BPM. Lots of short runs. The run lengths are something like:
1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 14, 16, 16, 24, 21, 23, 2, 18, 15, 40, 26, 40, 25, 2, 2, 24, 24, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 16, 16
(Not that anyone is going to actually read that sequence of numbers and interpret it in a meaningful way. But there you go anyway) Fifth 21. Or first 24. Whatever you want to call it. #ratings

- 48-(1)-46-(1)-72 @ 230 (2:14 - 5:12)
- REALLY LONG BREAK @ 210 (5:12 - 8:17)
- 47-(1)-48 @ 221 (8:23 - 10:08)
The chart was rated 22 when I got it but I think it's actually a low 21. Last Trip was harder. So I'll call this my second stamina 21 pass.

I was hilariously bad at ITG for about four months, but then just recently I started getting good again, so I started taking videos here and there. This is all I feel like uploading.

This Fiesta EX machine randomly appeared in a movie theater around here, and the pads are really nice. You can only get in without buying a ticket on certain days, so I only play maybe once every 3-4 weeks, but I think the game is pretty fun, and I've been improving kinda fast. I'm pretty sure about five "sessions" ago, I wasn't even able to A this.
uhhhh that's about it

(If it hasn't already, the video should rotate soon; my sincerest apologies to your neck)
In case you haven't been following recent "hard stuff" on In The Groove, Moonearth is a 17-block stamina chart with long, unbroken streams at 190 BPM. It starts off immediately with a two-minute run, then there are two 80-second runs later in the chart, separated by short breaks. It's notorious for being painfully difficult, which is precisely why I picked it.
Because I'm a dumbass, I naively assumed this would be fairly easy, since I can pass Moonearth on command without too much trouble, but it turned out that I was very wrong. Somewhere about halfway through the first run, I suddenly felt like I was going to projectile vomit all over the machine -- that's about when I realized this was a terrible idea.
It's always easy to look back at scores and think "Oh, I could have done better," but in this case, I really don't think I can. I'm positive I would have puked if I kept going, and I don't think anyone would have appreciated that. :P
