He was destined to be Lucia’s chosen, the one who would defeat Hadeon and set the world free from his grasp. But to many, he was a curse. Something to dispose of, something to hate. He seemed to bring bad luck and misfortune whereever he went. Devlin never chose to be apart of a prophecy 100 years before him, but he must go on, even if he isn’t at all ready for what life has in store for him. Calyx was found abandoned when she was young. The city of Perserverance was all she had ever known and the only home she could remember. She followed the rules, and stuck by her leaders word. But when she discovers her own best friend has been keeping secrets, even LYING, she has no other choice. She had to fight for what her and her city believed in, even if it meant shutting everyone else out.Ava never fully felt like she fit in in the small town of Pride. She didn’t want to fight. She always thought they were too focused on being, well, proud of what they could do, who they could take in a fight. Her and her father never had the best of relationships, and things only get worse when she discovered his plan to take over Preservation. She had to do something before it was too late.
