Why The Owl House Doesnt Fit the Disney Brand and Got Cut Its Rebecca Rose 2021-10-27 | The Owl House was undeservingly cut short with the series set to conclude with three 44 minute specials for season three. Obviously, fans and viewers were upset and this spurred many theories on why the show was canceled. This ranged from the LGBTQ+ representation to the COVID pandemic and budget cuts. But on October 5th, creator Dana Terrace, took to Reddit to discuss the reasons why the show was cut short. After the post, there seemed to be some misunderstandings with why exactly The Owl House was let go.
